Who is Cielo 1908?

The Cielo family's wine story begins in 1908, when founder Giovanni Cielo bought a farm between Vicenza and Verona, at the foot of the Little Dolomites. The farm sits directly opposite two castles associated with Romeo and Juliet. What began as small-scale production for family and neighbours has grown into today's Cielo e Terra, based in Montorso Vicentino. The family has worked with local growers since 1999, building a local chain of production from grape to bottle; the company holds B Corp and VIVA sustainability certifications.

What kind of wine is a red blend?

A red blend is made by combining wines from different red grapes in specific proportions. This way, one grape's fruit can be complemented by another's colour or structure. The grapes and proportions used are stated on the label.

How should it be served, and what food does it pair with?
