Alcohol Delivery in Alsancak & Lapta

The coast road west from Kyrenia first passes through Karaoğlanoğlu, then reaches Alsancak and Lapta (Lapithos), and carries on to Karşıyaka at the foot of the mountains. For years this stretch has been a favourite with British and Northern European settlers, full of houses with gardens and low-rise complexes. Lapta's upper neighbourhoods sit on a green slope fed by spring water, while hotels and beach clubs line the shore below.

Alsancak's hotel coast

On the Alsancak coast are large hotels such as the Merit Royal, Merit Royal Diamond and Merit Crystal Cove. Requests from their guests are usually champagne for a celebration in the room or a particular brand the hotel bar doesn't stock. The hotels have their own rules for outside deliveries; handover is mostly at reception or in the lobby.

Homes in Lapta and Karşıyaka

For long-standing expat residents in Lapta, an order is a kind of "restock": a few cases of wine, cider the British way, gin and a bottle or two of whisky. In the mountain houses of Karşıyaka, people entertaining guests order beer and raki for barbecue nights. The roads are narrow and winding, so sharing a location pin and meeting the driver on the main road speeds things up.

Distance: why order early?

Alsancak and Lapta are among the furthest areas from our branches: about 100–110 km from Bafra via Nicosia and Kyrenia. So delivery takes place once your order is confirmed by WhatsApp or phone (+90 539 138 15 62), on the day and within the time window agreed in that confirmation according to the route and workload; the charge is settled in the same conversation. The hours of the branch preparing your order apply. For this area, bulk orders covering a few days' needs make more sense than urgent single-bottle requests.

If you live in an old stone house with a garden in upper Lapta and vehicles can't get down your lane, we can suggest meeting in the village square or at a shop on the main road. We'll agree the time on WhatsApp.

Beach clubs and events

Beach clubs along the Alsancak and Lapta shore hold events all summer. These venues have rules about bringing in outside drinks, so we recommend having your order delivered to your home or accommodation.
