The Karpaz (Karpas) Peninsula stretches out into the sea in the north-east of North Cyprus: sparsely populated villages and unspoilt nature. Its best-known stops are the wild donkeys, Golden Beach (Altın Kumsal) and the Apostolos Andreas Monastery. Karpaz Gate Marina and boat owners
Karpaz Gate Marina near Yeni Erenköy is a regular port of call for yachts cruising the eastern Mediterranean, with a hotel and beach club on site. Boat owners provisioning before setting sail usually ask for cases of beer, white wine, gin, tonic and plenty of water. We can plan delivery to the marina entrance or a point you choose on the pontoon. Check the marina office for its delivery and access rules.
Dipkarpaz, Kaleburnu and bungalow holidays
People staying at the tip of the peninsula mostly stay in bungalows and small guesthouses, and shops nearby are limited. So it's common to do a "few days' worth" of shopping before heading to Karpaz. You can call into our Bafra branch on your way, or ask us to bring your order as far as Yeni Erenköy. For Dipkarpaz and beyond, delivery needs to be arranged in advance.
Suggestions for your Karpaz basket
For keeping cool, beer and rosé and white wine; for long evenings, rum or whisky, with soda and juice and snacks. Cold items are carried with care to keep them cold.
If it's hot while you're driving round Karpaz, we suggest keeping chilled drinks in a cool bag in your car. Please respect the wildlife along the peninsula and don't leave empty bottles behind.
Living in Yeni Erenköy
Yeni Erenköy is the largest settlement on the peninsula and the shopping hub for nearby villages. Families who live here all year and expats settled around the marina usually order weekly or fortnightly. Nearby villages such as Ziyamet and Sipahi can be covered on the same route.

Every order to the peninsula sets off once confirmed by WhatsApp or phone (+90 539 138 15 62); the time and charge are agreed in that confirmation, depending on distance and how busy the day is. There may be no phone signal in some parts of the peninsula, so it's best to send your live location while you're in a village centre. We check age (18+). You can pay cash in Turkish lira, pounds sterling, euros or US dollars, or by credit card. The Bafra branch is open Tuesday–Sunday 09:00–02:00 and Monday 09:00–00:00. If there's no signal in Dipkarpaz, how will the driver find me?
Send your location from somewhere with signal, such as the village centre. You can also name a well-known café or square as a meeting point.
If I stock up at the shop for a few days, what are your hours?
The Bafra branch is open Tuesday to Sunday 09:00–02:00 and Monday 09:00–00:00. Even if you're heading to the peninsula late in the evening you can call in on the way; just remember Monday closing is midnight.
Is there a delivery charge for Karpaz?
It depends on distance and how busy we are. We don't quote a fixed figure; we'll tell you on WhatsApp when you order.
