Cielo Chardonnay is a white wine at 12% ABV made from Chardonnay grapes in Italy's Veneto DOC-classified Veneto region, by Cielo e Terra. Cielo e Terra is a well-established Italian wine house founded in 1908 when a group of Veneto winemakers joined forces.
What kind of wine is Cielo Chardonnay?
This wine belongs to Cielo's classic range, prepared for everyday tables. The producer recommends drinking it young; the aim is to keep Chardonnay's fresh fruit and floral character to the fore. It shows a straw-yellow colour with golden glints in the glass.
What does Cielo Chardonnay taste like?
On the nose, floral aromas and ripe peach notes are prominent. On the palate it offers a velvety, rounded structure; its soft texture makes it an easy-drinking, versatile table wine.
How is it served?
The producer recommends serving it at 8-10°C. Its fruit character comes through best when drunk young and fresh; keeping it cold after opening preserves its freshness.
