Craft beer is the name for beers from brewers who are independent of the big industrial producers and work on a small scale with a focus on style. The Jastin Off Licence craft beer range includes West Coast IPA and NEIPA-style beers from Brewart, a boutique brewer; we deliver to your address in North Cyprus.
There's no single legal definition of craft beer worldwide. The most widely referenced definition comes from the Brewers Association in the USA: small, independent and traditional. Under it, a craft brewer produces a limited volume of beer each year and isn't majority-owned by another large brewing company. In everyday use, the term describes beers brewed in small batches, with recipes that aren't afraid to experiment and a focus on a particular style.
One of the most popular styles of the craft movement is the IPA (India Pale Ale). IPAs use plenty of hops to gain pronounced bitterness and intense aroma, and have split into various sub-styles over time.
The classic take on American IPA: pale, clear, clean-fermented and distinctly bitter. The BJCP style guidelines give American IPA a range of 5.5–7.5% ABV and 40–70 IBU. The pine, citrus and tropical fruit aromas come from the hops. Cubic West Coast IPA is Brewart's beer in this style.
A style that emerged in the 2010s in New England in the USA, defined by the BJCP as Hazy IPA. It looks hazy, even opaque, with a soft, smooth body. The hop aroma is very intense but the bitterness sits further back than in a classic IPA, leaving a fruitier, juicier impression. It's usually 6–9% ABV. Nuvo NEIPA represents this style.

West Coast IPA is a clear style with a dry finish and pronounced bitterness; hops come through in both aroma and bitterness. NEIPA (New England IPA) is hazy, soft and fuller-bodied; the hop aroma is very intense but the bitterness stays in the background and it tastes fruitier.
