The Mixers & Soft Drinks category brings together tonic and alcohol-free botanical drinks that make cocktails and long drinks easy, plus ready-to-drink cocktails in bottles and cans. Remember that ready-to-drink cocktails contain alcohol, while the 0% products on the tonic shelf don't; we bring your choice to your door in North Cyprus.

The Mixers & Soft Drinks shelf meets two different needs. On one side are tonic and alcohol-free alternatives for people who want to make their own cocktails; on the other, ready-to-drink cocktails you can just open and serve, without measuring or mixing. We've put them under one roof because they're often chosen together, in the same shop, for the same party. But their contents are very different: ready-to-drink cocktails are alcoholic drinks, while alcohol-free products say 0% on the label.
Our Tonic & Mixers shelf currently has Whitley Neill's 0% alcohol botanical drinks. These offer gin-style flavours without alcohol and are made into long drinks with tonic or lemonade. When you want to build an alcoholic long drink, choose the main spirit from our gin, vodka or rum shelves.
Our Ready-to-Drink Cocktails shelf has bottled or canned versions of classics such as the Mojito, Margarita, Piña Colada, Espresso Martini and Negroni, as well as mixed drinks such as gin and tonic and whisky and cola. Strength varies considerably from product to product: cans are usually low, while bottled cocktails can be close to wine strength or higher. So we recommend reading the strength and serving suggestion on the label.
The styles on the shelf are varied too: tropical, fruity flavours such as Piña Colada and Mai Tai, citrus classics such as the Margarita and Cosmopolitan, the coffee-led Espresso Martini, the bitter Negroni and light aperitif styles such as a limoncello spritz all sit on the same shelf. So in one shop you can put together a selection to suit different tastes.
The secret of a good long drink is often in the preparation rather than the recipe. Filling the glass to the brim with ice makes the drink dilute more slowly; too little ice melts quickly and weakens the taste. Chill mixers and ready-to-drink cocktails well in the fridge before serving, and add fizzy drinks last and slowly. Using a measure rather than judging by eye makes it easier to get the same taste in every glass. For garnish, fresh citrus slices, mint and seasonal fruit suit most recipes.
With ready-to-drink cocktails, the strength, serving size and serving suggestion vary from producer to producer. Of two bottles of the same size, one may be designed as a single serve and the other as five. On alcohol-free products, 0% or 0.0% shows the product contains no alcohol. Keeping this information in mind when serving guests helps you make a glass to suit everyone.
On the alcohol-free side, Whitley Neill 0% Raspberry and Whitley Neill 0% Rhubarb & Ginger; among ready-to-drink cocktails, the bottled Punch Club Espresso Martini and the canned Beefeater Gin & Tonic are two good examples for different needs. No. Although the category name covers tonic and alcohol-free products, everything on the Ready-to-Drink Cocktails shelf contains alcohol. Alcohol-free products say 0% or 0.0% on the label. When choosing, check the strength on the product page and the label.
The basics are a main spirit (gin, vodka, rum or tequila), a mixer (tonic, soda or fruit juice), a liqueur or vermouth if needed, and plenty of ice. If the recipe uses citrus, fresh lemon or lime makes a noticeable difference to the taste.
Usually, yes. Cans are single serves and are mostly lower in alcohol. Bottled cocktails contain several servings and can be higher in alcohol, so they're measured over ice according to the serving suggestion on the label.
