Famagusta (Gazimağusa, or Magusa for short) is the largest city on the east coast of North Cyprus, with its Venetian-walled old town, its port and Eastern Mediterranean University. Different sides of the city, different orders

EMU and the student neighbourhoods

Thousands of students and academics live around Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU/DAÜ) in Karakol, Sakarya and Çanakkale. Orders here are mostly for house parties: birthdays, end of term or match nights. Think beer, good-value vodka or gin, energy drinks and snacks. We check age (18+) without exception at student houses too, so please have your ID ready.

The walled Old Town

Around Othello Castle, the Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque and the narrow streets inside the walls, vehicle access can be limited. In that case it's easier to meet at a gate or a square.

Palm Beach and the hotels

On the Palm Beach shore next to closed-off Varosha (Maraş) you'll find the Arkın Palm Beach Hotel and other accommodation. Depending on reception rules, hotel deliveries may be handed over in the lobby. Just give us your room number and the name on the booking.

Visiting the shop

Most of our roughly 855 products are on the shelves at the branch: Scotch, Irish, American and Japanese whisky, wine, raki and liqueurs. We also sell cigars and cigarettes. A year-round season in Famagusta

Unlike the tourist coast, demand in Famagusta follows the university calendar. Orders rise at the start of term in September and February as new students set up home, calm down during finals and pick up again at graduation. In summer, guests at the Palm Beach hotels and visitors coming into town for dinner take over. For families, port workers and civil servants living in the city, popping into the shop is the easiest option. There's a choice in every category, and our team can help you pick a gift bottle or a wine for dinner. When ordering from a student house in Karakol, a flat in Baykal or a house on the Maraş road, giving the neighbourhood and building name makes delivery easier.

We deliver within the city. The driver sets off as soon as we've confirmed the order on the branch's WhatsApp line or by phone (+90 542 881 16 80). The delivery time and any charge are agreed in that conversation, depending on the neighbourhood and how busy the day is.
