Cielo Pinot Noir is an elegant 12.5% ABV red wine made by Cielo e Terra in Veneto from Pinot Noir grapes classified as Trevenezie IGT. The producer presents this wine as part of its best-selling series worldwide, and it uses a screw cap. Thanks to its thin skins, Pinot Noir is a grape that produces pale, elegant, low-tannin wines.

What does Cielo Pinot Noir taste like?

It is a lively, bright ruby colour. Raspberry and cherry stand out on the nose, joined by balsamic notes reminiscent of freshly cut grass and a lively touch of black pepper and liquorice. It is neither overly fruity nor overly spicy. The palate offers a fresh, velvety structure with fine tannins; the finish is savoury and fruity.

How should it be served?

The producer recommends serving at 16–18°C and drinking within 1–3 years. Its light body also makes it an enjoyable red for summer.

What food does it pair with?

Its soft tannins and fresh structure suit grilled fish and meat recipes. The producer suggests spaghetti with octopus sauce, paella, tuna steak, meat and vegetable skewers, lasagne, and mushroom and sausage pizza.
