Martini Asti is a 7.5% ABV sweet sparkling wine made from Moscato Bianco grapes in Piemonte's Asti DOCG region by Martini & Rossi, which has operated near Turin since 1863. It carries the DOCG designation, the top tier of Italian wine classification.

What does Martini Asti taste like?

The production method preserves the white Muscat grape's natural aroma and sugar, giving it a pronounced fresh-fruit character. Ripe peach, orange, acacia blossom, wisteria and mountain honey aromas combine on the nose. The palate is rounded out by peach and sage, with the sweetness of pear and pineapple. Its low alcohol and gentle sweetness make it a light, easy-drinking sparkling wine.

How should it be served?

It is served well chilled, in flute or wide-bowled sparkling wine glasses. Its aromatic character is felt best when drunk young, so there is no need to age it. It is a popular choice at celebrations and for a toast alongside dessert after a meal.

What food does it pair with?

Given its soft summer-fruit aromas, the producer recommends Martini Asti alongside desserts: creamy zabaione, crisp fruit tarts, or a simple bowl of ripe peaches and apricots are good matches. Fruit cakes and light creamy desserts also pair well.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
