Martini Rosato is a rose Italian vermouth at 15% ABV, made by Martini & Rossi by flavouring white and red wines with exotic botanicals. Inspired by Luigi Rossi's original recipes, this contemporary vermouth uses spices such as Madagascan clove and Sri Lankan cinnamon. Martini & Rossi is today part of the Bacardi group.

What does Martini Rosato taste like?

The producer describes Rosato as an elegant, aromatic vermouth that combines sweet spice with a delicate warmth. Soft spice and floral aromas intertwine on the nose. On the palate a light sweetness is balanced by warm touches of clove and cinnamon.

How is it served?

It can be drunk neat over ice or with a slice of orange or lemon. For the producer's suggested Rosato Spritz, the vermouth is lengthened with sparkling wine or soda; long drinks made with tonic are also a refreshing option.

Which foods does it pair with?

According to the producer, Rosato's delicate warmth and spice stand out alongside acidity in food. Crab, tomato, avocado and ceviche-style light, sharp flavours, along with citrus-based sauces, are the pairings suggested for this vermouth; fresh summer salads also suit it well.

Nose: Soft spice and floral aromas.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
