Cielo Prosecco Rosé is a 10.5% ABV Prosecco DOC Rosé Extra Dry sparkling wine from the Blu Collection series of Cielo e Terra in Veneto, made from Glera and Pinot Noir grapes. Reflecting the experience of the Cielo family, who have made wine since 1908, this rosé Prosecco has received 94 points from Italian wine critic Luca Maroni.

What does Cielo Prosecco Rosé taste like?

It has a striking pink colour and lively bubbles. Strawberry and cherry notes stand out on the nose. The palate combines soft and crisp textures pleasantly; the finish is agreeably dry and refreshing. The Extra Dry class means a slightly softer drink than brut.

How should it be served?

The producer recommends serving at 6–10°C and drinking it young, within one to three years. It can be drunk alone as an aperitif or used in cocktails with grapefruit and strawberry. Its striking presentation is enhanced by the Blu Collection's ribbed, embossed bottle.

What food does it pair with?

The producer suggests a wide range of pairings: anchovy or margherita pizza, canapés with raw salmon and soft cheese, cherry tomatoes with mozzarella, prawn cocktail, fried halloumi and prawn dumplings are among them.
