Filipetti Prosecco Rosé is an 11% ABV rosé Prosecco DOC sparkling wine made by the Filipetti brand, part of Asti-based Perlino, from Glera and Pinot Nero grapes. It is bottled in the extra dry style, which offers a slightly softer drink than brut. The Filipetti brand was founded in 1922 by oenologist Giovanni Giuseppe Filipetti and was acquired by Perlino in the 1990s.

What is Prosecco Rosé?

Prosecco Rosé is a rosé sparkling wine made within Prosecco DOC rules by adding a proportion of Pinot Nero to the white Glera grape. Pinot Nero gives the wine its light pink colour and red-fruit character. Wines in this category are labelled as vintage-dated (millesimato).

What does Filipetti Prosecco Rosé taste like?

It is a fresh, elegant rosé sparkling wine. Delicate fruit and floral notes are felt on the nose; its fine bubbles give a refreshing drink. Prosecco DOC wines are produced in an area covering the Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia regions of north-east Italy.
