Sevilen Altıntepe Rosé is a Turkish rosé wine from the Altıntepe range of İzmir-based, long-established producer Sevilen, offered for everyday tables. The Altıntepe range brings together Sevilen's easy-drinking wines.

Who is Sevilen?

Sevilen was founded in İzmir in 1942 by İsa Güner, who had trained in viticulture and winemaking in Bulgaria. Today run by the third generation of the Güner family, the company produces from vineyards in the Aegean around İzmir as well as from high-altitude vineyards on the Anatolian plateau.

What is the Altıntepe range?

Altıntepe is an accessible range within Sevilen's everyday-wine group; the range's red and white wines are made from blends of different grapes. Rosé wine is made by briefly macerating red grapes with their skins, giving it a fresh red-fruit character. Please check the bottle label for grape variety, sweetness and alcohol information.

What food does it pair with?

Rosé wines are served at 8–10°C. Meze with olive oil, summer salads and grilled chicken pair well with a light rosé.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
