Sevilen Yaban Mersini is a fruit wine made with blueberry by Sevilen, an established Turkish wine producer. It is one of the fruit wine options Sevilen offers alongside its grape wines; the same series also includes a blackberry fruit wine.
About the producer
Sevilen Şarap Sanayi was founded in 1942 by İsa Güner, who trained in viticulture and winemaking in Bulgaria. Today run by the third generation of the Güner family, the company produces from Aegean vineyards around İzmir and high-altitude vineyards on the Anatolian plateau, working with modern winemaking techniques.
What is fruit wine?
Fruit wine is the general term for wines made from fruits other than grapes. Blueberry, with its dark colour and pronounced fruity character, is a fruit commonly used in this type of wine. We recommend checking the bottle label for technical details such as this wine's alcohol content and sweetness level.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
Fruit wines are generally served chilled. A blueberry wine can be served with fruit tarts, chocolate desserts or a cheese board, and also in small glasses after a meal.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
