Diren Roze is one of the rosé wines from Diren Şarapçılık, which has been making wine in Tokat since 1958. Diren is known as a brand rooted in Tokat's fertile lands for viticulture and fruit-growing.

Who is Diren?

Diren Şarapçılık was founded in Tokat in 1958 by Mustafa Vasfi Diren, who had trained in agriculture. Starting from the founder's interest in the grapes of the Tokat region and in winemaking, the company is today run by later generations of the family, with its factory still in Tokat. Tokat is a long-established viticultural region that is also the homeland of the white Narince grape.

How is rosé wine made?

Rosé wine is made by briefly macerating red grapes with their skins, giving the wine its pale pink colour and fresh red-fruit character. As Diren's range includes dry and off-dry rosé wines across different series, please check the bottle label for grape variety, sweetness and alcohol information.

What food does it pair with?

It is best served at 8–10°C. Meze with olive oil, salads and chicken dishes are classic choices that pair well with rosés.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
