Sevilen Tellibağ Kırmızı is a Turkish red wine from the everyday table-wine series of İzmir-based Sevilen, which has made wine since 1942. In Sevilen's current range, the red in the Tellibağ series is a blend of Carignan and Karasakız.
What is the Tellibağ series?
Tellibağ is an accessible series offered under Sevilen's "Everyday Wines" heading, designed for drinking at the table every day. The series includes one white (Sultaniye and Semillon) and one red (Carignan and Karasakız). Carignan is a red grape widely grown around the Mediterranean basin; Karasakız is a native variety specific to the Northern Aegean and Gallipoli area. As the red in the series has previously been released with a different grape blend, we recommend checking the grape information on the bottle label.
About the producer
Sevilen Şarap Sanayi was founded in 1942 by İsa Güner, who trained in viticulture and winemaking in Bulgaria, and is today run by the third generation of the Güner family. The company sources its grapes from Aegean vineyards around İzmir and high-altitude vineyards on the Anatolian plateau; it is consulted by a French oenologist with a Bordeaux background.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
As an everyday red, it can be served lightly chilled, slightly below room temperature. It suits the table alongside grilled meats, meatballs, pizza and pasta, or a cheese-based meze platter.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
