Maison Castel Cuvée Blanche is a French sparkling wine offered by the French wine group Castel under its Maison Castel brand, made as a "blanc de blancs" blend, meaning a wine made solely from white grapes. It is produced at Castel's 60-year-old sparkling wine facility in Burgundy.

How is it made?

The white wines making up the blend are selected by a Maison Castel winemaker, and the production process is regularly overseen by Castel's teams. It contains around 10 grams of residual sugar per litre, placing it among the dry (brut) sparkling wines. It is labelled vegan-friendly.

What does Maison Castel Cuvée Blanche taste like?

It has a pale yellow colour with bright reflections and fine bubbles that last a long time. White flowers and citrus lead on the nose, followed by white-fleshed fruit notes such as pear; there is also a light toasted-bread touch. The palate offers a balanced, elegant drink with fresh citrus and white-fleshed fruit aromas.

How should it be served, and what does it pair with?

The producer recommends serving at 7–10°C and drinking within a few years. It pairs well as an aperitif, and with white meats, fish and seafood; baked cod with spinach is one of the producer's recommended pairings.
