Gibson's London Dry Gin is a 37.5% ABV London Dry gin from French group La Martiniquaise's Gibson's brand, distilled, according to the producer, in the United Kingdom. Gibson's is France's best-selling gin brand and ranks among the ten best-selling gins in the European Union.

How is it made?

According to La Martiniquaise, the gin is distilled in traditional stills using alcohol from carefully selected grains; the botanicals impart aroma by vapour, and the gin is cold-filtered before bottling. The recipe contains eight botanicals: juniper, angelica root, orange peel, Italian lemon, coriander seed, orris root, nutmeg and Chinese cinnamon.

What does Gibson's London Dry Gin taste like?

According to the producer's description, notes of juniper, coriander, angelica and lemon peel lead. Juniper's resinous structure is complemented by coriander's lemony spice and orange peel's freshness; nutmeg and cinnamon add a light warmth.

How should it be served?

It is ideal for a classic gin and tonic; the producer also recommends gin-based cocktails such as Negroni. When made with tonic, plenty of ice and a slice of lemon or orange peel are enough.
