Bulldog London Dry Gin

Bulldog London Dry Gin is a 40% ABV London Dry gin distilled under contract in England. Developed by American entrepreneur Anshuman Vohra with the aim of creating a modern gin, the brand launched in 2007 and today belongs to the Campari Group.

The gin is distilled four times in copper stills and contains twelve botanical aromatics from eight different countries. Alongside classics such as juniper, lemon peel, almond, cassia, lavender, orris root, liquorice root, angelica and coriander, unusual aromatics such as longan fruit, white poppy and lotus leaf are used.

What does Bulldog London Dry Gin taste like?

On the nose, resinous juniper, floral lavender, musky and nutty angelica, and lime peel are felt. On the palate the structure is dry yet soft; woody juniper leads, accompanied by nutty angelica and soft black pepper. On the finish, balanced aromatics carry the structure; angelica's nutty tone and cracked black pepper linger long.

How should it be served?

A gin and tonic made with plenty of ice, tonic and a slice of lemon or lime is the most common serve. Its soft texture and floral side also give good results in a dry Martini; it can also be used in classic cocktails such as Negroni.

What does Bulldog pair well with?

Juniper, floral and citrus notes suit light, refreshing dishes. Grilled fish and seafood, along with herby, lemon-dressed salads, pair well alongside it as a balanced long drink with tonic.
