Beefeater Pink Strawberry

Beefeater Pink Strawberry is a 37.5% ABV strawberry-flavoured pink gin from London's Beefeater brand. The brand belongs to the Pernod Ricard group. According to the producer it is prepared with the same recipe as classic Beefeater London Dry Gin, with natural strawberry flavouring added.

What's in it?

At its base are the nine botanicals of Beefeater London Dry Gin: juniper, lemon peel, orange peel, almond, angelica root and seed, coriander seed, orris root and liquorice root. Natural strawberry flavouring and other natural flavourings are added to this structure to create a fruity interpretation.

What does Beefeater Pink Strawberry taste like?

A pronounced strawberry aroma is felt on the nose. On the palate, strawberry's soft fruitiness meets Beefeater's classic juniper and citrus notes; the result is a balanced, contemporary gin with a sweet strawberry touch. Juniper is clearly felt on the finish.

How should it be served?

The producer's suggestion is to add tonic or lemonade to a glass filled with ice, garnished with fresh strawberry slices. It is also used in pink interpretations of cocktails such as pink gin and tonic, French 75 and Bramble.

What does Beefeater Pink Strawberry pair well with?

Its fruity, lightly sweet character pairs well with strawberry and red-fruit desserts. As a light drink made with tonic, it also accompanies light dishes such as summer salads and grilled fish.
