Whitley Neill Pink Grapefruit Gin is a 43% ABV pink grapefruit gin made in England under the Whitley Neill brand, part of the Halewood Artisanal Spirits group. Inspired by Spain's citrus groves, this gin is part of the brand's hand-crafted flavoured range and won a silver medal at the IWSC in 2019.
What's in it?
The producer's published botanicals are juniper, coriander seed, Chinese cinnamon (cassia) bark, orris root, angelica root, liquorice root, sweet orange, lemon peel, grapefruit peel and pink grapefruit essence. Three different citrus components give the gin a distinctly citrus-forward identity.
What does Whitley Neill Pink Grapefruit taste like?
It begins with a light sweetness on the palate; citrus notes soon turn into a balanced burst of grapefruit. Grapefruit's light bitter edge combines with juniper and spiced roots to keep the drink fresh.
How should it be served?
A gin and tonic made with plenty of ice, tonic and a slice of pink grapefruit is the most fitting serve. Its light, citrus character also works well in spritz- or Paloma-style long drinks.
Which dishes does it pair with?
Its grapefruit, refreshing character makes a good companion for fish and seafood, sushi and citrus green salads.

- A lightly sweet start; citrus notes develop into a balanced burst of grapefruit.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
