Bickens Pink Gin

Bickens Premium Pink Distilled Gin is a 40% ABV grapefruit-flavoured pink gin from the Bickens brand, part of the Campari Group. Bickens gins are distilled in England, at the Langley Distillery near Birmingham.

What's in it?

At its base is Bickens' ten-botanical recipe: juniper, coriander seed, nutmeg, cinnamon, angelica root, sweet orange peel, liquorice root, Chinese cinnamon (cassia) and lemon peel are its main components. In the pink version, natural pink and white grapefruit flavouring is added to this base.

What does Bickens Pink Gin taste like?

According to the producer's description it keeps Bickens' spicy, velvety character while gaining a pronounced grapefruit accent. A fresh, citrus taste is balanced by a light sweetness. This gives it a softer, fruitier alternative to original Bickens' dry, robust character.

How should it be served?

It is ideal for a classic gin and tonic: add tonic to a glass full of ice and garnish with a slice of pink grapefruit. The producer particularly recommends this gin to bartenders looking to make vibrant cocktails with a citrus finish.

What does Bickens Pink Gin pair well with?

Its grapefruit-forward, fresh character sits well with grilled fish and seafood. Citrus-dressed salads and light dishes such as sushi are also good matches.
