Sierra Café is a 25% ABV coffee tequila liqueur made in Mexico by flavouring Sierra Tequila blanco with Mexican coffee and vanilla. Labelled "Licor con Tequila", it is the coffee member of the Sierra Tequila range. The tequila base is made from blue agave, double-distilled in copper stills.
What does Sierra Café taste like?
Dark, almost black in colour, the liqueur's nose combines tequila and coffee, with a light vanilla note behind them. The palate is full and spicy: coffee, vanilla and tequila's agave character balance a light sweetness. The finish is long, with the tequila's fruity notes merging with the aroma of roasted coffee.
How is it served?
It can be drunk neat or over ice. The producer recommends mixing the liqueur with fresh milk to create a cold, coffee-and-milk drink. It can also be used in coffee-based cocktails such as espresso martini and White Russian.
What food does it pair with?
Its coffee- and vanilla-led character pairs well with chocolate desserts such as chocolate cake, tiramisu and brownies. It can also be served after a meal with roasted hazelnuts or almonds.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
