Archers Peach Schnapps is an 18% ABV peach schnapps liqueur, made with ripe peach aroma, created in 1986 by what was then IDV (now Diageo). The brand was acquired from Diageo by the Dutch company De Kuyper Royal Distillers in September 2022. Sold in its early years at 24% ABV, the liqueur's alcohol content was later reduced to 18%; in 2002, differently flavoured versions such as lime and cranberry were also added to the range.

What does Archers Peach Schnapps taste like?

The clear-looking liqueur has a texture on the palate close to syrup; ripe peach flesh comes through distinctly, and the sweetness stays balanced. This sweet but not overwhelming fruit profile makes it more suited to use in mixed drinks than to drinking on its own. The brand also describes Archers as a mixer-friendly fruit liqueur suited to any occasion.

How is it served?

The best-known serve is lengthened with lemonade in a glass full of ice. It can also be mixed with orange juice, cranberry juice or sparkling wine; it is one of the familiar components of classic cocktails such as Sex on the Beach. It is also drunk chilled with ice as a short shot.

What food does it pair with?

Its peach aroma suits fruit desserts, peach or apricot tarts and vanilla ice cream; its lemonade serve can also accompany salads at summer tables.
