Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year Old is a 43% ABV blended malt Scotch whisky from Diageo's Johnnie Walker range, containing no grain whisky, made solely from single malt whiskies aged at least 15 years. It was introduced in the early 2000s.
What kind of whisky is Green Label?
The blend brings together malts from Talisker on the Isle of Skye, Linkwood and Cragganmore from Speyside, and Caol Ila from Islay. This combination brings together coastal peat and gentle smoke with rich malt and soft fruit. The 15 years on the label indicates the age of the youngest whisky in the blend.
What does Johnnie Walker Green Label taste like?
The nose is rich and lightly smoky; chocolate and fragrant sandalwood notes can be sensed in the background. On the palate, fresh fruit and grass come first, followed by cooked fruit, soft spice, nuts and coffee. The finish is long and spicy.
How should it be served, and what food does it pair with?
Drinking it neat or with a few drops of water makes it easier to distinguish the different characters of the malts; it can also be served on the rocks. Its lightly smoky, fruity character pairs well with grilled fish and seafood, mature cheeses and grilled red meat.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
