Smokey Monkey is produced by blending peated and unpeated single malt whiskies in small batches, matured in old bourbon casks. The aim is to preserve the creamy sweetness and spice of Monkey Shoulder Original while adding a dry, earthy peat smoke. As a blended malt containing no grain whisky, its malt character is pronounced.

What does Smokey Monkey taste like?

A fine smoke mixed with oak is felt on the nose. On the palate, dry peat notes combine with the brand's signature creamy sweetness and spice; sweet vanilla, sharp black pepper and lively citrus stand out, while an earthy peat smoke rises in waves in the background.
