Whitley Neill Raspberry Gin is a 43% ABV raspberry gin made in England under the Whitley Neill brand, part of the Halewood Artisanal Spirits group. It draws on founder Johnny Neill's childhood memories of picking wild raspberries on trips to Scotland and days spent on his grandparents' farm. It won a silver medal at the IWSC in 2021 and at the London Spirits Competition in 2022.

What does Whitley Neill Raspberry taste like?

A pronounced taste of juniper, coriander and liquorice root is felt at first. Then the bright, lively taste of Scottish raspberries comes forward. A light, fruity sweetness is balanced by the gin's aromatic juniper notes. Citrus and raspberry linger long on the finish. The producer describes this balance and delicate fruit taste as the gin's standout feature.

How should it be served?

The producer describes this gin as versatile: a gin and tonic made with tonic is the simplest serve, garnished with fresh raspberry and a piece of lemon peel. It can also be used as a base in seasonal cocktails, especially those lengthened with sparkling wine.
