Pasqua Romeo & Juliet PassioneSentimento Rosso is a Rosso Veneto IGT red wine that marks the starting point of Pasqua's Romeo & Juliet project, which tells the story of the brand's connection to Verona. It is made from Merlot (40%), Corvina (30%) and Croatina (30%) grapes. The label features a photograph, taken by photographer Giò Martorana, of graffiti found on a wall in Juliet's courtyard.
What does PassioneSentimento Rosso taste like?
It is an intense, dark-coloured wine. Concentrated black and red cherry aromas are joined by touches of leather and spice. The palate has a layered texture; firm tannins give a long finish. Hand-picked grapes are left to dry in a drying room, losing around 30% of their water; this drying gives the wine concentration and a light sweetness of ripe fruit. The wine is made in steel tanks and aged for six months in oak. The 2021 vintage received 90 points from Wine Enthusiast.
How should it be served?
As with full-bodied reds generally, it is suitable to serve at around 16–18°C in a large glass. Letting it breathe briefly before serving helps the aromas open up.
What food does it pair with?
Its intense structure is well balanced by grilled red meats, lamb dishes and mature cheeses.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
