Koskenkorva Cream Crème Caramel is a 15% ABV cream liqueur made by blending vodka produced in the Finnish village of Koskenkorva with cream and caramel. The brand is part of the Anora Group; the Koskenkorva distillery it takes its name from produces grain alcohol from local barley using continuous distillation.
What does Koskenkorva Crème Caramel taste like?
According to the tasting description from Finland's state monopoly Alko, the caramel-coffee coloured liqueur is smooth and full-bodied, with creamy confectionery and caramel notes standing out. The producer states that a light touch of vanilla is added alongside the cream and silky caramel. The IWSC's assessment also describes a rich drink with a salted-caramel aroma, reminiscent of the crème caramel dessert it is named after.
How is it served?
The producer's recommendation is simple: add a few ice cubes and drink it neat. Alko recommends serving liqueurs cool, at 10–12 °C. It can be added to coffee or drizzled over ice cream and desserts. Once opened, it is best kept in the fridge and consumed within a few weeks.
What desserts does it pair with?
The caramel and vanilla notes make a fitting match with crème caramel, milk-based desserts and chocolate cakes. It is also chosen as an after-dinner liqueur, in a small glass alongside coffee.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
