Koskenkorva Strawberry Ice Cream is a 15% ABV cream liqueur combining strawberry and vanilla ice cream aromas. This product, from the Finnish village of Koskenkorva and belonging to the Anora Group, is described by the producer as a summer-inspired sweet liqueur; it is listed among the cream liqueurs at Alko.
How is it made?
The base of Koskenkorva liqueurs is vodka obtained through continuous distillation of local barley at the village distillery. In this liqueur, the vodka is blended with cream, strawberry and vanilla aromas; because it contains dairy, it falls into the cream liqueur category.
What does Koskenkorva Strawberry Ice Cream taste like?
According to Alko's tasting profile, the light pink liqueur is smooth, full-bodied and creamy; rich strawberry notes are accompanied by a light vanilla. The overall impression is a sweet, creamy drink reminiscent of strawberry ice cream.
How is it served?
It can be served neat over ice or chilled in a small glass; Alko recommends 10–12 °C for liqueurs. It can also be used in sweet cocktails. As a cream liqueur, it should be kept in the fridge once opened and consumed within a few weeks.
What desserts does it pair with?
The strawberry and vanilla notes make a natural match with fruity desserts, strawberry cake, cheesecake and vanilla ice cream. White or milk chocolate desserts are also a good accompaniment.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
