Koskenkorva Salted Caramel is a 15% ABV vegan cream liqueur from the Finnish village of Koskenkorva, flavoured with salted caramel. This liqueur, from the Anora Group's Koskenkorva brand, is listed among the cream liqueurs at Finland's state monopoly Alko and is included among its vegan drinks.
How is it made?
The base of Koskenkorva liqueurs is vodka obtained through continuous distillation of local barley at the village distillery. In this liqueur the vodka is combined with salted caramel flavour; according to Alko's definition, vegan drinks contain no animal-derived ingredients or materials.
What does Koskenkorva Salted Caramel taste like?
According to Alko's tasting profile, the light-coloured liqueur is light, smooth, sweet and full-bodied. On the palate, caramel and toffee notes stand out, with a light vanilla felt behind them.
How is it served?
It can be served neat over ice or chilled in a small glass. Alko recommends serving liqueurs at 10–12 °C. Adding it to coffee or using it in sweet cocktails is also common.
What desserts does it pair with?
The caramel and vanilla notes make a good match with chocolate desserts, apple pie and caramel ice cream. A small glass alongside after-dinner coffee is also a classic choice.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
