Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola

Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola is a canned, ready-to-drink cocktail combining Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey with Coca-Cola. According to retailer data, the can sold in the German market is 10% ABV. The product was developed as part of a partnership between Jack Daniel's and The Coca-Cola Company, inspired by the two brands' famous "Jack & Coke" pairing.

What is at its base?

Jack Daniel's is a Tennessee whiskey owned by Brown-Forman, produced at the distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Before going into the barrel, the whiskey is filtered through around three metres of sugar-maple charcoal and matured in new, charred American oak barrels; the brand describes its whiskey with notes of vanilla, orange, brown sugar and spice. In this ready-to-drink cocktail, the whiskey is combined with the familiar taste of Coca-Cola.

What does Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola taste like?

According to Jack Daniel's description, the whiskey's notes highlight Coca-Cola's taste, creating a balanced drink. As its alcohol content is higher than many canned ready-to-drink cocktails, it should be consumed in moderation.

How is it served, and what does it pair with?

It can be served well chilled from the can or over ice in a tall glass, with a slice of lemon if preferred. The whiskey-and-cola pairing goes well with hearty dishes such as barbecue and grilled meats, burgers and pizza.
