Jack Daniel's Tennessee Apple is a 35% ABV apple whiskey liqueur, made by blending Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Tennessee whiskey with apple liqueur. It is produced by Jack Daniel's, part of the Brown-Forman group.
What kind of drink is Tennessee Apple?
The producer states that this drink, made with real, crisp apples, combines Jack Daniel's character with fresh green apple. It is labelled as a whiskey liqueur in Europe and is a member of the flavoured Jack Daniel's family, alongside Tennessee Honey and Tennessee Fire.
What does it taste like?
According to Master of Malt's tasting note, plenty of lively green apple stands out, along with buttery caramel, vanilla and caramelised apple sweets. It has a sweet but refreshing profile.
How should it be served, and what does it pair with?
It is served cold, on the rocks, or extended with ginger ale, lemonade or soda; it suits light cocktails such as the producer's recommended Jack Apple Spritz. It pairs well with apple tarts, fruit desserts and caramel desserts. It can also be served chilled from the fridge in small glasses. Another light mix recommended by the producer is the Tennessee Apple Ginger, made with ginger ale. Its refreshing apple character particularly shines in long, iced drinks during the summer months.
