Absolut Passionfruit Martini

Absolut Passionfruit Martini is a 5% ABV, carbonated, ready-to-drink canned cocktail made with Swedish vodka Absolut. The brand belongs to The Absolut Company, part of the Pernod Ricard group; this can is produced in the Netherlands. The cocktail is made by mixing Absolut Vodka with natural passion fruit and vanilla flavours. The producer states that its aim is to offer a bar-quality cocktail in a practical format.

What does Absolut Passionfruit Martini taste like?

According to the producer's description, the dominant flavour is fresh, tart passion fruit, accompanied by a sweet vanilla. Its light carbonation keeps the drink lively and refreshing. Retailers' descriptions also highlight a profile reminiscent of a passion-fruit lemonade, with a balanced sweet-tart, fruity character. It can be thought of as a light, sparkling take on the classic Passion Fruit Martini cocktail.

How is it served?

It can be drunk straight from the can; but it gives the best result when well chilled and poured into a glass full of ice. The producer recommends the cocktail for moments to share with friends, at home or out; needing no preparation, it is a practical choice for picnics and outdoor gatherings.

What food does it pair with?

Its fruity, vanilla character pairs well with light desserts such as fruit tarts, pavlova or tropical fruit salad. Salted nuts and light snacks also offer a good counterpoint to its sweet-tart balance.
