Cielo Sauvignon Veneto

Cielo Sauvignon is a white wine at 12% ABV made from Sauvignon grapes in Italy's Veneto DOC-classified Veneto region, by Cielo e Terra. With its aromatic character, it's one of the most distinctly scented wines among Cielo's classic-range whites.

Who is Cielo e Terra?

Cielo e Terra was founded in 1908 when a group of Veneto winemakers brought their production, sales and know-how together under one roof. Thanks to its broad grape sourcing, the brand aims to offer everyday wines with consistent quality and accessible prices. Sauvignon, too, is a product of this approach, prepared to be drunk young and fresh.

What does Cielo Sauvignon taste like?

It shows a straw-yellow colour with greenish glints in the glass. Its aroma is intense, carrying, as the producer describes it, green, herbaceous tones reminiscent of seaweed. On the palate a fresh structure is felt, with a very pleasant aromatic emphasis; the Sauvignon grape's lively character clearly comes through.

How is it served?

The producer recommends serving it at 8-10°C. Its aromatic structure comes through best when drunk fresh and young.
