Suvla Kilitbahir Beyaz is a dry white wine from the Kilitbahir range of Suvla winery in Eceabat, Çanakkale, made from Narince, Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The Kilitbahir range comprises Suvla's easy-drinking red, white and rosé wines.
What grapes is it made from?
Narince, a local variety from the Tokat region, is blended with Bordeaux-native Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. Sauvignon Blanc lends vibrancy and aromatic freshness, Semillon adds texture, and Narince contributes a local fruit character. Suvla is known for vinifying local grape varieties separately across the terroir of the Northern Aegean and Eceabat.
What does Kilitbahir Beyaz taste like?
It is pale yellow with green reflections. The nose is lively and aromatic, with hints of citrus, flowers and honey. The palate is light, fresh and simple, with touches of green apple and lemon — a clean white suited to everyday drinking.
How should it be served, and what food does it pair with?
It is recommended to serve well chilled, at 8–10°C. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif, or alongside light starters, olive-oil-based meze, salads and grilled fish.
