Kutman Beyaz

Kutman Beyaz is one of the white wines from the Kutman family, who have made wine in the town of Mürefte, Tekirdağ, since 1896. A well-established Thracian wine house, Kutman produces red, white and rosé wines across a wide range spanning from its classic line to a prestige series.

Who is Kutman?

The Kutman family's winemaking began in 1896 with the purchase of one of the wineries in Mürefte, Tekirdağ. After the population exchange, the family expanded production by taking over neighbouring wineries and has carried the trade on through generations. Mürefte, historically known as Myriophyton, is a Thracian town that has been famous for its wine for centuries; the old wineries were built with their doors facing the sea breeze to preserve coolness.

Kutman's white wines

The producer's current range includes white wines across different lines: single-variety whites such as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, and the Ancient Anatolian Civilisations White from the Classic Series, among others. How is it served, and which foods does it pair with?

White wines are generally served chilled to 8-10°C. Meze in olive oil, grilled fish and seafood, and fresh cheeses such as halloumi are classic accompaniments to Thracian whites.
