Jameson Ginger & Lime is a carbonated, 5% ABV ready-to-drink cocktail combining Jameson Irish whiskey with ginger ale and lime flavour. Offered under Pernod Ricard's Irish Distillers Jameson brand, it brings one of the brand's own recommended classic serves, Jameson with ginger ale and lime, to a can.
What is in it?
According to the label description, the product is a carbonated, alcoholic mixed drink that gets its taste from natural ginger and lime flavours. The underlying Jameson is a triple-distilled blended Irish whiskey, carrying the name of the distillery John Jameson founded in Dublin in 1780. Spanish retail records list its origin as the United Kingdom.
What does Jameson Ginger & Lime taste like?
Its flavour profile draws on the two aromas in its name: ginger's lightly spiced liveliness is rounded out by lime's freshness. Irish retailers highlight it as a lower-alcohol, refreshing option suited to on-the-go drinking.
How is it served, and what does it pair with?
It can be served cold from the can or over ice in a tall glass with a slice of lime. Its ginger- and citrus-led structure pairs well with grilled chicken, barbecue and lightly spiced dishes.
