Cricova Crisecco Brut is a 12.5% ABV brut white sparkling wine made from Feteașcă Albă and Muscat Ottonel grapes by Cricova, Moldova's renowned wine house. Feteașcă Albă is a white grape native to Moldova and Romania; Muscat Ottonel is known for its floral, aromatic character. Cricova is one of Moldova's best-known wine houses, recognised for its sparkling wines.
What does Cricova Crisecco Brut taste like?
It has a pale colour with greenish reflections. Distinct notes of wildflower, apricot, green apple and exotic fruit stand out on the nose; the Muscat contribution gives it an aromatic character. The palate is fresh and lively; green apple and citrus notes are felt. Its harmonious structure is completed by a long, fruity finish.
How should it be served?
It is served well chilled, in a flute glass. Its brut style and aromatic character make it a suitable choice as an aperitif, at celebrations and for a toast.
What food does it pair with?
Light meze, fresh cheeses, salads and seafood pair well with this sparkling wine. Its fruity character also offers an enjoyable match alongside light fruit desserts.
