Bombay Sapphire Sunset is a 43% ABV Special Edition gin from Bombay Sapphire. Inspired by the warm light of a setting sun, this gin adds three new botanicals to the brand's familiar ten exotic botanicals: golden turmeric, Indian white cardamom and Spanish mandarin. The brand belongs to the Bacardi group.
What does Bombay Sapphire Sunset taste like?
According to the producer's description, warming spices and bittersweet Spanish mandarin stand out. Turmeric and cardamom, combined with the classic Bombay Sapphire botanicals, create a complex yet balanced and vibrant aromatic profile. Mandarin's citrus builds a soft whole with the spice's warmth.
How should it be served?
The brand recommends Sunset as "Sunset & Tonic", garnished with an orange slice and a star anise. A Sunset Buck made with ginger ale, fresh ginger and a touch of lime, or a Sunset Negroni, are also among the suggested options.
