Yeni Rakı Uzun Demleme is a 45% ABV fresh-grape raki produced by Mey|Diageo, promoted by the producer as "Turkey's first craft raki". 100% fresh grapes and carefully selected aniseed seeds are distilled in copper stills. First launched in 2020, the product is sold only in 70 cl bottles.
What does "long brewing" mean?
The producer describes its craft approach as a production process demanding knowledge, mastery and patience. In this raki, the distillation process is extended from the usual 48 hours to 72 hours, and the raki is distilled a total of five times. This slow process, carried out drop by drop with resting in between, aims to purify the raki as much as possible.
How is it served?
It is drunk diluted with cold water in a traditional raki glass; the water ratio is adjusted to personal preference. Raki is poured first, then water; those who want ice add it last. Taking the first sips with little water is a good way to get to know its refined character.
What food does it pair with?
It pairs with all the elements of a classic raki table: white cheese and melon, olive-oil vegetables, herb- and yoghurt-based mezes, and grilled fish and seafood are natural companions for this raki.

- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.

An age check (18+) is carried out on delivery. Our Famagusta branch is open every day 09:00–00:00, and our Bafra branch 09:00–02:00 (until 00:00 on Mondays).
