Marengo Rosé is a pink, semi-sweet sparkling wine made in Ukraine by Bayadera Group's Marengo brand. It belongs to the brand's Italian-inspired sparkling series and is prepared especially for those seeking a fruity, soft-drinking sparkling wine.
What does Marengo Rosé taste like?
Its colour is a delicate pink reminiscent of salmon, with fine bubbles. The nose combines a light aroma recalling flower petals with fresh red-forest-fruit tones. The palate is light and harmonious; the fruity structure is balanced. Sweetness is pronounced but measured, never heavy, while the acidity remains lively and fresh. The result is a soft, easy-drinking pink sparkling wine.
How should it be served?
It is served well chilled, preferably in flute or tulip-shaped glasses. Its semi-sweet character makes it a comfortable choice for a toast at celebrations, birthdays, or alongside a dessert course. Once opened, it should be sealed tightly and kept cold to preserve its bubbles.
What food does it pair with?
Fresh fruit, strawberry and forest-fruit desserts, and fruit platters are the most natural pairings. A platter of cheeses at different stages of maturity also suits this pink sparkling wine's sweet, fruity character well.
