Marengo Semi Sweet is a white, semi-sweet sparkling wine made in Ukraine under Bayadera Group's Marengo brand. It is made from a blend of grapes and shows a fruity, juicy character with a light Muscat tone; it is aimed at those seeking a semi-sweet sparkling wine that is not overly sugary.

What does Marengo Semi Sweet taste like?

It has a pale yellow colour in the glass. The nose offers a fresh, lightly sweet, fruity aroma; the retailer's description also notes floral and Muscat tones. The palate is elegant and juicy; a light Muscat taste follows ripe fruit tones. The drink is light and refreshing, its sweetness striking a soft balance without becoming heavy.

How should it be served?

The retailer recommends serving at 10–15°C; chilling towards the lower end of the range gives a fresher drink. Served in a flute glass without overfilling, it preserves its bubbles well. It is an easy choice at celebration tables and with dessert service.

What food does it pair with?

It pairs naturally with fruity desserts, fresh fruit and forest fruit. It can also be matched with light snacks and fish dishes; its Muscat tone is well balanced with plainly cooked, mildly spiced fish.
