Knut Hansen Dry Gin is a 42% ABV dry gin made by the Hamburg Distilling Company in Hamburg, Germany. The brand was founded in 2017 by two young German entrepreneurs, who took its name and face from the legendary sailor Knut Hansen, who roamed the world in pursuit of freedom and adventure.

What sets Knut Hansen apart?

The recipe is built on fourteen botanicals sourced from local growers. Alongside juniper, basil, cucumber and apple from the Altes Land region near Hamburg stand out. The producer states that the gin is distilled four times in small batches at very low heat to preserve the aromas, then hand-bottled.

What does Knut Hansen Dry Gin taste like?

On the nose, juniper's floral, fruity side rises together with cucumber, basil and fresh herbs. On the palate, a peppery, spiced structure is felt, accompanied by apple's light sweetness.
