Cross Keys Gin

Cross Keys Gin is a 41% ABV dry gin made in Riga, the capital of Latvia, by Latvijas Balzams. Amber Beverage Group, which owns the brand, also owns Latvijas Balzams, the largest spirits producer in the Baltic states.

Where does the Cross Keys name come from?

The crossed keys are part of Riga's coat of arms and are known in the city as an old symbol of hospitality. The gin's recipe draws on the botanical heritage of Riga Black Balsam, a famous herbal liqueur produced since 1752. Among the recipe's twenty natural botanicals, chamomile, lime blossom and rosemary stand out alongside juniper. The gin is presented in the brand's signature clay bottle.

What does Cross Keys Gin taste like?

On the nose of this crystal-clear gin, chamomile and lime blossom's sweetish notes meet juniper's spiced tones. On the palate, a soft structure and a balanced harmony between sweetness and bitterness are felt. The finish is soft yet distinct; the botanicals' bittersweet togetherness lingers on the palate.
