Cork Dry Gin

Cork Dry Gin is a 37.5% ABV Irish gin made by Irish Distillers, part of Pernod Ricard, at the Midleton distillery in County Cork, Ireland. First produced around 1793 at the Watercourse distillery in Cork, it is today Ireland's best-selling gin brand.

The recipe includes botanical aromatics such as juniper, coriander, angelica root, lemon and lime; the producer describes its character as a balance of juniper, sweet and bitter orange, and angelica root. Its square bottle is a design long recognised in Ireland.

What does Cork Dry Gin taste like?

It offers a refreshing, balanced profile. Independent tasting notes highlight tropical fruit and toasted bread impressions on the nose, with juniper in the background. On the palate, within a peppery structure, light tropical fruit, soft juniper and earthy botanical notes are felt. Juniper becomes more pronounced on the finish.

How should it be served?

A gin and tonic made with plenty of ice, tonic and a slice of lemon or lime is one of this gin's best-known serves. Its light, citrus-forward structure also forms a balanced base in long cocktails such as Tom Collins.
