Garrone Bianco is the white vermouth of the Turin-based Garrone brand, made by blending selected Alpine herbs and exotic spices with quality wines. Bianco, the best-selling product in the brand's vermouth range, is offered at 16% ABV in a 1-litre bottle. Garrone describes its vermouth as created by a Turin entrepreneur who inherited Piedmont's vermouth tradition from his family.
What does Garrone Bianco taste like?
It is pale gold in colour, soft and bright in appearance. The producer describes its nose as aromatic and balanced, and its taste as sweet and spiced. This sweet-spiced character makes it an easy-drinking vermouth suited both to drinking neat and to cocktails. Other members of the range include red Rosso and dry Extra Dry vermouths, as well as cherry- and peach-flavoured aperitifs.
How is it served?
In the Piedmont tradition that Garrone evokes, vermouth is served with ice and an orange slice. It can be lengthened with soda or tonic, and used in spritz-style drinks and vermouth-based cocktails.
What food does it pair with?
As an aperitif, it goes well with light snacks before a meal. Olives, small meze plates, fresh cheeses and light canapés balance Garrone Bianco's sweet-spiced character.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
