Cornaro Mulberry Pink Gin

Cornaro Mulberry Pink Gin is a mulberry-flavoured pink gin made by Northern Cyprus-based drinks producer MEY İçki Sanayi Ltd. The producer describes it as a fruity, soft interpretation of classic gin, offered under the Cornaro brand alongside the same range's Cornaro London Dry Gin.

Who is MEY İçki?

MEY İçki Sanayi Ltd. is a Cypriot company founded in 1975, which began producing traditional drinks such as zivania, brandy, raki and grape vinegar in regulated facilities. According to the company, its main gin distillery is in Northern Cyprus; its gins use base alcohol sourced from European suppliers, and a classic juniper-forward botanical structure is used as the foundation.

What does Cornaro Pink Gin taste like?

According to the producer's description it is a colourful, aromatic, light-bodied gin enriched with mulberry flavour. Its fruity, soft character makes it easier drinking than classic juniper-forward gins.

How should it be served?

The producer particularly recommends this gin for creative cocktails. The simplest use is mixing it with tonic in a glass full of ice and garnishing with a few fresh berries or a slice of lemon; a light long drink can also be made with ginger ale.

What does Cornaro Pink Gin pair well with?

Its fruity, light character pairs well with summer salads and fruit desserts. As a light drink made with tonic, it can also accompany light dishes with white cheese and halloumi.
