Royal Salute 30 Year Old Key To The Kingdom is a 40% ABV blended Scotch whisky from Pernod Ricard's Royal Salute brand, made from whiskies selected from across Scotland, each matured for at least 30 years.
Where does the name come from?
Key To The Kingdom takes its name from the Ceremony of the Keys, held every year in Edinburgh at the gates of Holyrood Palace, the official residence of the British monarchy. Symbolising freedom and honour, the ceremony is one of the most long-established rituals in British royal tradition. The gift box is decorated with details that reference the officials who receive the keys during the ceremony.
What does Royal Salute 30 Year Old taste like?
The nose opens sweet and fruity: ripe, juicy pear, blood orange and dark honey stand out, followed by roasted oak, dried blackcurrant and a fine bonfire smoke. On the palate, a soft, sweet smoke meets candied walnut, syrupy peach and delicate ginger spice. The finish is long, leaving lingering sweet-smoky notes.
How should it be served, and what food does it pair with?
A blend of this age is best understood neat, at room temperature and sipped slowly; a few drops of water can be added if preferred. Mature cheeses, nuts and dark-chocolate desserts accompany its layered character.

- Keep wine bottles on their side and spirits upright.
- Serve white/rosé and sparkling wine at 6–12°C, and reds at 16–18°C.
- Keep opened bottles closed; drink wine within a few days of opening.
