Ballantine's 10 Yıl

Ballantine's 10 Year Old is a 40% ABV blended Scotch whisky from Chivas Brothers, part of Pernod Ricard, made from whiskies matured for at least 10 years. The producer describes this blend as "the whisky lover's whisky"; the whiskies in the mix are individually selected by the master blender.

What does Ballantine's 10 Year Old taste like?

It has a colour of golden honey tones. Sweet honey, light oak and vanilla are felt on the nose. On the palate, complex honey and floral aromas combine with a creamy oak sweetness. The finish is long, fresh and sweet. The producer describes its overall character as a flawlessly balanced blend. The whisky has won gold at the International Spirits Challenge and silver at the International Wine & Spirit Challenge.

How should it be served?

Thanks to its balanced structure, it can be enjoyed neat, with a single ice cube, or with a few drops of water. The producer also recommends this whisky for classic cocktails such as the Penicillin, Boulevardier, Rob Roy and Bobby Burns.

What food does it pair with?

Its honey and oak notes go well with grilled meats and mature cheeses. After a meal, it also makes an enjoyable neat pour alongside roasted nuts such as hazelnuts and almonds.
